When I found out that Aidan joined a soccer team and they play only a mile or so from our apartment, I knew there was no better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than watching 4 year olds play soccer.  The thought of uncoordinated 4 year olds chasing a ball made me happy to no end.  Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for Aidan because he hated every minute of it!  I didn’t know that kids could actually hate soccer!

I was so shocked that soccer would be so horrifying to him that I had to snag a couple of photos, specifically because I’m sure mom & dad would always want to remember the game

Can you tell who wants nothing to do with the game?

This was during a “pep talk” and after being told there was another “half” to play.  I think the game might’ve only been about 20 minutes long total, but I guess it must’ve felt like a lifetime!

Poor Colin was chomping at the bit to get out there and run around but was confined to the bleachers. I think he’ll be the sports buff.   At least I was right, it was an interesting afternoon!
